At Narellan Home Improvement Centre (NHIC), we love helping our customers get their outdoor spaces ready for the season, and this recent project in St Helens Park is a perfect example.
The customer wanted a seamless outdoor area that felt like a natural extension of their home. To achieve this, we used the Stratco Outback Frame in the sleek color Deep Space (black), perfectly matching the existing guttering and window frames. This cohesive design made the new structure feel like part of the original home rather than an addition.
For the roof, we used Stratco Cooldek roofing, which not only provides excellent insulation but also delivers a polished ceiling finish. To elevate the space even further, we integrated downlights, making it perfect for evening entertaining or simply relaxing after a long day.
With this setup, all that’s left is to add a table setting and a BBQ, and this outdoor area is ready to host family and friends all summer long.

This property had a balcony with no cover, and the owners trusted us to design a solution that would both protect the space and complement the existing architecture. Using the Stratco Outback Frame paired with 150mm x 65mm Colorbond Beam and 90mm x 90mm SHS Columns in the timeless shade of Sand Dune (Classic Cream), we created a structure that looks like it has always been part of the home. The materials and colors blended so seamlessly with the front façade, enhancing the overall curb appeal.
To further ensure a cohesive look, we added the Stratco Outback Edge Gutter in Heritage Red, perfectly matching the existing house gutters. Finally, the Stratco Cooldek Roof Sheets provided a sleek ceiling finish, adding comfort and protection to the outdoor space.
Both the customer and our team were extremely pleased with the outcome. This new addition not only elevates the home’s exterior but also adds functional space for the owners to enjoy all year round.

The client wanted to maximize their balcony usage throughout all seasons, enjoying the spectacular views of the river year-round. To achieve this, we used the Stratco Outback Roof sheet, known for its durability and modern V-groove finish. We chose the colour Paperbark for the roofing, frame, and guttering, seamlessly matching the home’s aesthetic.
To enhance the space further, we incorporated translucent roof panels. This clever addition allows natural light to flow through, creating a bright and inviting area no matter the weather. The result is a versatile balcony that the client can enjoy every day of the year.

The property featured an existing sunroom that, while functional, lacked character and aesthetic appeal. Our client sought a design that would not only modernise the space but also enhance its usability. Trusting in our expertise, they tasked us with creating a space that would be both stylish and durable.
We began by designing a new sunroom that would seamlessly blend with the existing structure while introducing modern elements. To ensure year-round functionality, we incorporated an insulated pergola. This addition provides extra cover, making the space usable in all weather conditions.
During the project, the client decided to further enhance the area by replacing an existing pergola and screen. We installed an insulated pergola and added aluminium privacy screens on both sides. This not only improved the aesthetic appeal but also ensured privacy and comfort.
The structure was completed in a classic Cream with an Off White ceiling, creating a clean, cohesive look. High-quality, insulated materials were used to ensure durability and comfort, regardless of the weather and Aluminium privacy screens were added to both sides of the pergola, enhancing privacy while maintaining an open, airy feel.
The transformation was remarkable. The new sunroom and pergola combination has not only increased the functionality of the space but also added significant aesthetic value to the property. The clean lines and modern design have given the area a new lease of life, making it a favourite spot for the homeowners.
